For sixty years, Jim's mother began every day with the same four words: "Jesus, I love you and thank you for everything." After she passed the phrase on, Jim carried it — into his own journaling, his own prayer life, and eventually into a song. "Thank You I Love You" is that prayer set to music: gratitude as a discipline, not just a feeling.
